BTFmesures’ expertise in level sensors

BTFmesures offers a wide range of level detectors and transmitters for liquids or solids, in both standard environments and ATEX zones. We support you in selecting, configuring, and integrating the most reliable, durable, and suitable solution for your requirements.

With a wide variety of technologies (bypass, hydrostatic, ultrasonic, rotary paddle, vibrating fork, etc.), we meet all your needs for continuous measurement or threshold detection.

Bypass measurement

Bypass measurement is based on an external tube connected to the tank, where a magnetic float moves freely. This system allows direct visual reading and can be equipped with analog transmitters or switches for remote control.
Ideal for opaque liquids or under high pressure/temperature, this device is particularly valued in the chemical, petrochemical, or food industries for its robustness, safety, and low maintenance.

Hydrostatic measurement

Based on the pressure exerted by a liquid column, this technology enables continuous and cost-effective measurement using immersed probes. It works efficiently with aggressive, loaded, or moving liquids.
Easy to install, reliable, and available in ATEX versions, it is perfectly suited for tanks, pumping stations, and water treatment units.

Rotary paddle measurement

The rotary paddle is designed to detect bulk solid levels: powders, granules, grains, etc. A small motor-driven paddle rotates until it encounters the material, triggering an alert.
Insensitive to dust or vibrations, this robust technology is suitable for silos, hoppers, and other storage systems in the cement, food, or plastics industries.

Vibrating fork measurement

Compact and with no moving parts, the vibrating fork detects the level by analyzing frequency variations caused by contact with the material.
Reliable even in dusty or sticky environments, it can be easily installed in tanks for precise threshold detection. Available in ATEX and hygienic versions, it is ideal for the pharmaceutical, chemical, and food industries.

Ultrasonic and radar measurement

These technologies enable non-contact level measurement, ideal for challenging environments (steam, dust, high temperature).
Radar is preferred for extreme environments, while ultrasound is more suitable for standard conditions. Easy to integrate, these sensors provide high accuracy in various sectors such as agriculture, water treatment, chemicals, or mining.
